I am trying to install vSphere onto a configured Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition virtual machine on ESXi 4. At them moment I have IIS 6 installed with Symantec Endpoint Manager and WSUS running. I have changed a couple of ports on the install wizard of vSphere so that they do not conflict with the existing sites in IIS.

I have tried to install vSphere a number of times and it has failed each time. It gets to installing Tomcat and then rolls back each time, so it's likely to have something to do with this. I think this issue may have surfaced due to the Virtual Machine crashing on the install of vSphere. I have tried to delete all of the relevant files from the failed install but I am unable to find any documentation online on how to remove the failed install, fully, and it wasn't available on Add/Remove programs to remove from there.

Any help would be hugely appreciated. Please ask if you would like any further information.
